Terms and Conditions for Sapts

1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading or using the Sapts mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. if you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Local Data Storage & Privacy Sapts is an “Offline-First” application.

  • Data Ownership: All receipt data, images, and financial records you input are stored locally on your device.
  • No Cloud Access: Sapts does not upload your financial data to external servers. Consequently, if you delete the App or lose your device without a manual backup, your data cannot be recovered by Sapts.
  • Security: You are responsible for securing your device (e.g., using passcodes or biometrics) to protect your local data.

3. Subscriptions and Payments Sapts offers a “Pro” version via subscription.

  • Billing: All transactions are processed through the Google Play Store. You are subject to Google Play’s Terms of Service regarding payments and refunds.
  • Cancellations: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time within your Google Play account settings.
  • Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Google Play.

4. Use of OCR Technology The App uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract data from receipts. While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that extracted data will be 100% error-free. Users are expected to verify all totals and dates before generating reports.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties Sapts is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not provide financial, tax, or legal advice. The App is a tool for organization and record-keeping only. Sapts is not responsible for any tax filing errors, loss of data, or financial discrepancies resulting from the use of the App.

6. Intellectual Property The “Sapts” name, logo, and original code are the intellectual property of SapaSmartKids. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

7. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
